It’s no surprise to any of us that with the increased number of residents in Bishops Cleeve, we need a new primary school. While it would make perfect sense for a school to be located near the new developments in the north of the village so then children can walk or cycle to school, the County Council has proposed a new school be built near Kayte Lane – an area that’s that is already busy with rush hour traffic.
We call on the County, Borough, and Parish Councils to work with the Diocese of Gloucestershire to get a new school built for the new developments to cater for the village’s dramatic population growth.
